Project background:

The Laser Engineering Research Institute of Beijing University of technology is composed of the national industry university research laser technology center, Sino German laser technology center and Beijing laser technology laboratory. It is the research and development base and talent training base of China's advanced laser modern manufacturing science and technology. In 2011, it became the engineering research center of Beijing laser application technology and the engineering research center of Beijing University of advanced laser manufacturing. The main research fields include: interaction between laser and materials, new principles, new methods, new processes and new technologies of laser welding, cutting, drilling, cladding, surface modification, material preparation and laser rapid prototyping of metal parts, laser processing of special materials and special structures, peripheral systems of laser processing, detection and control of laser processing process, etc.
